- On
12.19.2002, Egret Bay Development purchased the 5 Acre tract of land on
the west side of Landrum Ave
opposite the Phase 2 portion of the subdivision. This tract will be
platted as Phase 3 of the subdivision. We anticipate this property being
subdivided into 6 lots, each with water front access in late 2003. We
believe that this acquisition is key for ensuring
a very consistent and beautiful neighborhood.
- Fall
2002, the City of League City Parks and Recreation Department acquired the
Walter Hall Residence and associated 10 acre tract. The Hall Residence
will soon become The Butler Longhorn Museum. In addition, the City plans
to move the old Ghirardi house to this tract of
land, and make it part of the Museum complex. This move is anticipated to
occur in the Spring of ’03.
