Welcome to The Park on Egret Bay

Thank you for your interest in The Park on Egret Bay.  We are very excited about our development and feel that it is unique for a number of reasons.

If you have not yet visited the site, you will soon see that the views of Egret Bay are incredible.  This is one of the few places, other than Clear Lake, where Clear Creek opens up significantly prior to entering the Gulf.

The live oak strand in the development is one of the last few such strands in League City. The diameters of many of the live oaks exceed 40 inches. We have designed our lots around these incredible trees in an effort to preserve as many of them as possible.

The development is located adjacent to the Historic District in League City. The old neighborhoods in League City are real neighborhoods. People have typically lived here for a long time and care very much about what goes on. The neighborhoods are very quiet, and a great location in which to take walks.

The location is central to everything in Clear Lake—NASA is 7 minutes away; Kemah is also close. Access to Egret Bay Blvd and Main Street League City is direct and easy.

CCISD schools are excellent. We have included links on our web site to the CCISD web pages, and have listed the specific schools for our neighborhood.

The architecture which will be permitted in the neighborhood will be beautiful. Deed restrictions are just words, and don’t really convey the type of architecture which we have in mind. As such, we have included links to numerous pre-approved plans which we think will give you a better idea as to the type of architecture that we are striving for. The pre-approved plans, if anything, errs on the side of stilt or pier house construction. We did so, because many people have a hard time finding such plans. However, Craftsman or toned-down Victorian type plans will also work. Generally, we are looking for lots of nice windows as well as straight / simple lines in the overall design. Porches are also key.

The lots are significantly larger than most subdivisions, and have been designed to preserve trees.

The Butler Museum and associated nature trails will shortly be a very nice addition to the community. We have included more information on this in our “Subdivision News” link.

We actually live here—we restored and live in on old homestead house that existed prior to the development on Lot 1. We are determined to do everything that we can do to make sure that this is a great neighborhood to live in—where your investment will be protected.

If you would like us to walk off any given lots, we’d be glad to meet you on-site to do this, and answer any other questions that you may have. We also welcome such opportunities since it gives us a chance to meet you and you a chance to meet us—as potential future neighbors.

Finally, if you have any suggestions on how we can make our web site of more use to you, please let us know that as well.

Again, we thank you for your interest in the development.

Sincerely,

Richard Davis
